There are Issues with this LED HDTV Its not all Good! - B. Morgan - If you are looking for the latest LED technology HDTV you've probably experienced this LED panel from LG. I read the other comments here and I am a bit suspicious of some of these people could work for LG?
OK It's good and bad weather and it is certainly not bad, but do not be fooled by some of the most zealous comments here on this product. It looks great in the stores but could not do and the reality of your home. Read on.
The Good! Brightness of the image under ideal conditions of observation is impeccable. 1080p and 1080i modes ee this TV to perform at its best. When connected to a 1080p Blu-ray player to play with all the shutters is top notch!
The not so good. The screen has some serious glare problems (such asa glass screen) For this screen somewhere near a window (s) in particular behind the viewer, it's really hard to get your eyes to focus the reflected images from behind you. My oldest has a Westinghouse LCD anti-glare screen and faces much better than the LG is in normal view situations like this. 120 Hz to the true motion parameter and causes serious problems not just pixel. This effect can be seen clearly to people on the screen. The group works OK whenthis feature is disabled. Calibration and settings of the movie mode seems to work very well. To view a low resolution (less than 720P) which is not great and continues to be exceeded, in my personal opinion, for my TV Westinghouse much older) I found it strange to some questions on my DVR recorded programs such as "Flash Forward", the other night and that was a lot of dark scenes to see. It was almost like watching a low resolution, image quality was not good at all. Howeverwatch the latest Star Trek on Blu-ray is just outstanding - so I do not know if a question of resolution, black levels compared to 1080p or 1080i parameters.
Conclusion: If you are looking for an LED panel and ideal viewing conditions and your main entrance will be particularly HD DVD Blu-ray sources, then this is the TV for you. If you go to watch TV programs in multiple environments more realistic household you may want to consider other options withscreens are less bright.
